A man was robbed at gunpoint by two men while he was closing a business in the 800 block of Groesbeck Avenue on Friday, according to a report by the Lufkin Police Department.
A woman told police that she was punched in the chin and had a necklace pulled from her neck, causing injury in the 700 block of Abney Avenue.
A woman reported that her father assaulted her during an argument about rent money in the 300 block of Pershing Avenue.
A window was reported broken out of a residence in the 1700 block of Pershing Avenue.
A man told police his vehicle suffered scratched paint and a broken taillight in the 300 block of Hopkins Street.
A man with outstanding warrants eluded an officer on foot in the 1400 block of Sunrise Avenue, according to a report.
A digital camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3200 block of Daniel McCall Drive, a report stated.
A purse was reported stolen in the 700 block of North Timberland Drive.
The Lufkin Police Department made 10 arrests late Friday and early Saturday. Arrests and water camera charges include: Billy Grant, 48, public intoxication; David Allen, 52, disorderly conduct; Nathaniel McDaniel, 41, evading arrest/five class C warrants; Titus Smith, 20, possession of a controlled substance; Karen Renfro, 40, DWI; Michael Turner, 26, public intoxication; Jermikel Brown, 21, assault/family violence; William Smith, 20, five class C warrants; Curtis Teel, 22, indecency with a child; and sharp video camera Misty McKelvey, 36, public intoxication.
The Angelina County Sheriff's Department made seven arrests late Friday and early Saturday. Arrests and charges include: Larry Skillern, no age listed, judgment theft of firearm; Tony Price, 40, parole violation/theft; Michael Maldonado, 17, order of surrender/possession of marijuana; Henry Fernandez, 23, burglary; Manuel Martinez, 35, vr3 backup camera judgment/DWI; Kelly Johnson, 40, judgment/possession of controlled substance;Shannon Scott, 38online soliciting of a minor.
The Angelina County Jail housed 269 inmates as of 5 p.m. on Saturday.
